Hi! I had just turned 38 when our son was born. He is now 6 years old and our one and only. He definitely keeps me young! I am glad to have found this group within the Momstyle website! Would love to meet other "late bloomers" with young children!

Hi! Definitely not alone! I have a 5.5 month old boy who was born with imperforate anus (Colon and anus didn't meet at birth, needed surgery) who is classified as a 'special needs' child. I'm 39 and he is our one and only. Rough pregnancy, doc says I won't survive another. He has changed our lives in so many wonderful and unexpected ways, though part of me wonders if we were too old to have an infant? Somewhere along the line we got old and crotchety and set in our ways--now we have a new boss! Quite an adjustment! :)

Nope, you're not alone. I am 42 years old, and have a 4-year-old. We haven't totally given up yet, but it's looking like he'll be our last one.

Please don't let me be the only one to join this group! There HAS to be others out there...We need to stick together!
